By day, I’m a regular high school student. But by night, I take to the streets to fight the world’s largest killer – Big Tobacco. I am a member of a group of Raze heroes. Raze is a statewide youth anti-tobacco movement. Together, using our individual super powers, we work to tear down the lies of Big Tobacco. I fight by being quicker, smarter, and craftier. Using my cat like moves, Big Tobacco can't trap me. Don't let them trap you either.
In West Virginia, 46,000 kids alive today will die early because of products marketed by tobacco companies. Each year, secondhand smoke kills more than 65,000 people nationwide. This must stop.
It’s up to Raze and its 10,000 plus members to fight back. During the day, I work to spread the word about Raze at my local school by doing commotions and initiating conversations about the dangers of tobacco use.
At night, I walk amongst the shadows using my cat like abilities to maneuver around their lies. Big Tobacco never rests, and they cannot hide.
They are always out there, and so am I. I fight by escaping the lies.
